The Basement Tapes is a homemade album of songs recorded on a Tascam 4-track Portastudio in the basements, bedrooms, and even closets of various houses we lived in from 1986-1996. It is a rather eclectic, and well . . . interesting collection of tunes. The recording quality varies from truly awful to not too bad, considering the equipment. Out of the 125+ songs recorded on the Portastudio over the years, these are the eleven that made the prestigious cut! From these humble beginnings, I Love My Car went on to become a concert favorite over the years.
