Think Twice was recorded with producer Jeff Dykhouse in seven days over July and August of 1987 at Jephtha Studios in Temecula, CA. The album garnered regional attention, as three of the songs, Right, Are You Ready? and Stand Strong all received radio airplay. It also led to the formation of The Clay Collins Band, which began to play extensively throughout California. The highlight of the session was Clay and Brian down in the studio basement quintuple tracking the vocals to Part-Time Love, where all the ad-libbing and laughter made it into the final mix!
